The long day of tennis had its casualties but Mark Yates won the singles while Peter Eklund and Charles Foster won the doubles for the day.
Platinum Handicap Singles - Sun. 13 April

An extraordinarily even battle was had in the Platinum Handicap Singles tournament this year with on two of the matches in the round robin not ending either 6/4 or 6/5. Eventually it was Jake Wilson who prevailed in the final over Charlie Dolan with the predictable scoreline of, you guessed it, 6/5!
Young Members Singles Tournament - Sat. 12 April

After a full afternoon of close matches and tight competition it was Tom McNamara who came out victorious from the first young members tournament of the year.

11 of you under 26 year old members entered the club's Junior Handicap Club Championship with plenty of close matches throughout the day.

Ballarat, Hobart and Melbourne were all represented in this years Australian Amateur Women's Championship and graded events with great matches all weekend.

Thank you and congratulations to HRTC on hosting and winning the 60th Percy Finch tournament! It was a fantastic long weekend run smoothly by Brett, Jackson and Nick Rooke. We greatly appreciate all the billeting (organised by Jackson), marking (both professionals and Nick) and who could forget cooking the tournament dinner by John Herbert.
