The doubles however was a different story as Pridmore took control, ably assisted by Paul Rosedale. Booth and his long-time partner Bret Richardson were overwhelmed by Pridmore's consistency, Richardson's lack of recent court time starting to show in the second half of the match.
There were also B Grade singles and doubles events which concluded on Saturday afternoon. Again many of the matches were close but in the end it was Jackson Brand with the upset of the tournament, defeating Richard Pagone in the singles final. In the doubles it was Richard Hince and Jonathan Buckley who were victorious over Pagone and Brand.
